• Students’ Union 

     

    All students enrolled are considered ordinary members of the Students’ Union and the Principal of the College acts as its   ex- officio President. The Students’ union, elected every year as per its constitution, carries out its function under the Sub-committees: Games. Magazine, Cultural, Common Room, Canteen & Students’ Welfare. The union also conducts and participates regularly in Saraswati Puja, Annual Social Function, Publication of annual magazine, Organise Annual Cultural Competition, Observance of Teachers’ Day etc.

    But there is no Student Union from the Academic Session 2017-18 as per Government Order No.168-ILC/OM-34L/2017 dated 07.06.2017. In place of Student Union Student Council will be elected w.e.f. 2017. But such G.O. will not be effective till date. As a result from the year 2017 there is no Student Union or Student Council.
